You can do the same with a Windoze computer. Based on my experience so far, it's easier to get the Windoze computer to do what *I* want it to do right out of the box without reading the FM, than it is to get the Mac to do what *I* want it to do EVEN AFTER I'VE READ the FM.

Why in the WORLD would Apple sell you a computer that would run Windows-like right out of the box? That's totally crazy!

Admittedly, I am already familiar with Windoze, and know how to nuke quite a lot of the useless bullshit. And what I can't nuke, I can effectively hide so it will mainly leave me alone to get on with what I want to do.

Like I said in the last message, you should not be allowed near a Macintosh. You are already hardwired the Redmond way. You must be put through dissociative therapy and assimilated into the Cupertino way. It may take some time considering how far gone you are, wanting a Windows interface to your Macintosh.

Perhaps an interim period with Windows running on the Mac in one of the several virtual reality programs. Just don't get side-tracked into Linux while there!

The Mac won't allow me to kill the useless bullshit and it won't allow me to hide it. And the manual is just LIES, ALL LIES!

Poor baby. GIVE HIM 15 SECONDS AT 600 VDC, .5 AMP every two minutes until you can see the foam running down his cheeks!
