I should think a live-view lcd screen would take the place of a waist-level
finder these days, and be more versatile. I used to have a waist-level
finder for my LX, but rarely used it - I was in blinkered collector mode
when I had the LXs, and wanted to own the whole system, whether I needed it
or not.
