Thanks Dan!

The dragon boats have been something of a fad for the last 10 years or so.  
They are flat-bottomed tubs propelled by (usually) untrained paddlers.  This 
group got 15 minutes of dry-land instruction on basic boating safety and how to 
hold a paddle, and off they went.  

On the plus side, there are a couple of dragon boat races for charity every 
year, that have become very popular.
