Thank you Cotty! I'll do the toast. Hopefully one or two PDMLers will make it, so they'll help me with that :-) Tom writes: > Congratulations, I wish I could come. Piezo over silver - I have never been a very good darkroom guy--I have less than two years of experience there, and currently don't have a darkroom available. That might change now that I'm moving into a house, but we'll see. With Piezo I get great prints, with great tonality and no dust problems... As much as it is said about it (namely, that maybe it's not really archival), it is very white and I get the deepest blacks with it. I like the Somerset papers a lot (use Somerset Velvet quite a bit and been playing lately with Somerset Enhanced) but the blacks on them are not too deep. The lack of deep blacks is the main problem of Piezo, but I think it makes up greatly for that with its extraordinary tonality. Hm, interesting... Well, the guy cannot prove it was him. Has RATP sued anyone for pictures taken in their premises? I don't recall any signs prohibiting photography. Not that I worry too much... j ===== -- Juan J. Buhler http://www.jbuhler.com Great stuff seeking new owners in Yahoo!
