A square sensor and APS-C directly contradict each other. Plus I
doubt anyone is making a 24x24mm square sensor. (I expect somebody will
Google it and prove me wrong)

IMO only makes sense with an all electronic MILC mount plus smart PK
adaptor to add register distance delta plus aperture and screwdrive AF
motors and SDM passthrough contacts. Anything else will add
unnecessary bulk to the body and offer no significant advantage over
other EVIL + adaptor offerings. And please, Pentax make it APS-C or
bigger. And of course we want a square sensor and an aperture
simulator and a cormorant hide covered PDML edition.
