I should point out that she is aware of basic focus operation and she knows what the red dot blinking in the viewfinder means. Further, I did notice that she composes her pictures in a proper way so as to take advantage of that knowledge... May be I should repeat my explanations to her just in case.
Alternatively I may have to test the camera myself. It would be a shame if I would have to take it to service though.
