Last Friday the Solomon Douglas Swingtet played at Friday Night Blues with Kim Massie singing. The music was awesome, and if you're between here and Seattle, I really recommend trying to catch one of their shows over the next week and a half.
The lighting however, was incredibly challenging. Even though the lights in the room were brighter than during a normal dance, they shined gelled lights on the wall behind the performers causing some interesting back light issues.
