I'm sure the reaction to that will be a lot like a Bateman cartoon! The cormorant is to the PDML as consciousness is to Sartre - a néant. One cannot just photograph a cormorant. The photograph must come to the camera, as dreams to a sleeping infant. One day you will find yourself awake, surprised to have been sleeping, and you will be aware that you have a cormorant photograph, but you won't entirely know how it happened.
