I know animal control generally only deals with domesticated animals,
pets and such. But, they might be interested in a situation like
this, just for the possibility of a rabies outbreak, or the fact that
someone in the area might be using poison.

Larry - I agree with wht Walt said -- unsettling on two scores the
poison or the idea of rabies... I hope you aren't handling them!
