Larry,
I like the set. While I cannot see the EXIF information, - I suspect the photos were taken with very wide-open aperture. Right? The DOF is very shallow. It shows, e.g. in http://www.flickr.com/photos/ellarsee/5260309176/sizes/l/in/photostream/ . - One eye is in focus, and the other is not. It might be the fault of the AF (but it is not focused on any other object). I see a similar effect here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ellarsee/5259699237/sizes/o/in/set-72157625595687808/ The focus on the dress print on her chest, - while both the face and the hands are out of focus. The same situation is here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ellarsee/5260309972/sizes/l/in/set-72157625595687808/ I know, most likely you were shooting with the ambient light (?). For this reason, I seldom shoot dances with anything wider than 2.8, and if I do, - I try to make sure what the AF locks on. - This is harder to do on K-x, compared to K-7 (that's why I still like K-7 better than K-x, despite the high-ISO performance).
