>Hello I'm new on here and I have a question. Should i stick with my >pz1p and use this with a macro lense for macro photography?
I don't see why the Z-1p was not good for macro, except it may not be a Nikon as you implied. I use Z-1p and FA100/2.8 macro myself. >I was told to better trade it in for a Nikon and when I called >Michaels Camera in Melbourne and Genious Photo they simply >told me they wouldnt touch it and aint interested in a trade in. Of course they told you to buy Nikon. They are blood suckers. I know because I was living in Melbourne for 9 years. If you want to sell, use Photographic Trader in most news agents. But then I don't see the reason. However, it's true that Nikon is much better supported in Melbourne. >Is there a special place in Australia that sell and have a constant >stock of Pentax gear new and second hand? Not in Melbourne as I know. Even if they do, they would be bloody expensive. Perhaps mail order from B&H in New York. All Pentax lenses and cameras should come with 1 year international warranty as I know. You can also go to C.R Kenndy in South Yarra (correct spelling?) for accessories and parts (2nd floor). Their sales department is quite helpful. regards, Alan Chan _________________________________________________________________ MSN Photos is the easiest way to share and print your photos: http://photos.msn.com/support/worldwide.aspx - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
