That comment was, of course, in regard to the amazing little shop.
hehe and I thought it was bout my being busy with shooting :-)
I'm absolutely giddy about how little noise I get shooting 1600 with the D.

To escape the computer, I took myself out to shoot in Tompkins square Park..
damn! it was about 15 degrees colder than
I thought it would be.. 5 degrees F , someone said...
I spent about 30 minutes photoing the dogs playing in the dog area and then
went into this litte candy store
oon Ave A where I had seen a sign for beignets. I asked if I could buy just
one - at first I was turned down (there was
a $2.00 for 6 biegnets and coffee bit) but I relly didn't want to eat 6 of them
and I didn't have anything but some change with me.
I had no idea that they were made fresh ... finally I got her to sell me one
for 50 cents... and she brought me two for that :-)
and listened to my sorrowful tale of the crashed hard drive.

I was naughty eating the goodies but I felt I deserved 'em...
