Do I sense symptoms of being struck by the pixel level comparison lightning here? It is also known as pixel peeping...

Jostein, how often do you /really/ need to produce prints larger than 60x40 cm? How often do you /really/ need to produce prints as large as 60x40 cm? Methinks it is A2, right?

You see, the way I grok it is that if you get K-5, you will produce brilliant images with it and if you get 645D, you will produce images just as brilliant in subject matter department whereas of course they'll have proportionally more pixels and all that comes with them. So, unfortunately, the only convincing necessary here is that of your bank account.

So if you want to do serious cropping or print a 6ft x 4.5ft print, then the
645 is for you. A bargain :-)

Speaking of enlargements, I have a 60x40 cm, on canvas, of the penguin
shot hung in Chicago last May. It doesn't go any larger than that
without looking ugly from the K-7.

For the record I also had a pano of whopping 230 cm by 60 cm, produced
from a file stitched from 17 exposures. That was pretty nice. :-)
