I think you'd be much better off trying to find a used film scanner. I'm sure 
the V750 is better than the 3200, but I doubt that it's a significant upgrade. 
Could be wrong, but the fact that it's a flatbed gives me pause. It seems to be 
the wrong tool for the job. I scanned with the 3200 for several years, and the 
results looked okay. In fact, many of those scans went to magazines and were 
published. But when I had a chance to rescan on transparency on an Imacon 
scanner, it was a revelation. I was losing a huge amount of detail with the 
flatbed.
