Lightweight and decent are usually considered oxymoron's when applied to
tripods. Gitzo used to make one the was ok, but it was god awful expensive.
Other than that consider tripod substitutes like: beanbags, tabletop
tripods, ball-head on a clamp, etc. If you do get a lightweight tripod, get
a short one you may have to kneel to use it but it will be somewhat steady.
Most bets are off with that 300 though.
