I think there was a thread about landscape vs. portrait orientation
somewhere but I think it had to do with monitor sizes...I think.
Anyway, that came into mind because I 'normally' see things in the
portrait orientation: I owe that to the fact I learned to compose with
a half-frame Olympus PEN EE-2 :-D

Contrary girl that I am, I like your first lanscape oriented one in that
set a tad better.
But portrait orientation works better for most magazine and book covers.
Yeah there was a discussion about the monitor aspect ratios and such...
I' m definitely more of a landscape orientation shooter - easier to keep
the camera steady.
I've been more concious of doing that, too, since I'm thinking about
what would work on
calendars...
