with the moon only a few percent "bigger", i figured i'd do better waiting until i have some good long glass and maybe more pixels on my sensor; with a 70-210 being my longest, i was proud of the shots i took of the recent eclipse until i saw what others had accomplished
otoh, the moon was good for looking; after midnight here in Denver there was a really dreamy halo around the moon from high cirrus
