Canon 7D and 70-200 lens. If it's outdoors, the f4 version will be fine. The autofocus on the Pentax cameras I've had (istD, K10, K7) just wasn't on par with Canon. Can't speak for Nikon, I've never used one. The two bodies I use for dogsports are 7D and 1Dmk3. The 7D replaced my 1Dmk2 after the shutter failed.
