The norwegian word djern means brave or daring. A quite appropriate name for this theatrical metal based power trio. The singer is quite an act, and norwegian metal music is often closely connected to viking mythology and such. In fact most modern metal bands are pretty theatrical, but djern takes it a bit further. They arr a lot :-)
