these things become such an automatic reflex. A couple of days ago I sat down to read and without thinking about it, took my reading glasses from their case and put them on. Picked up my book, then reached for my glasses case only to see that my glasses weren't in there. It took a couple of minutes of searching before I embarrassedly realised I was wearing them.
