I have 2 spare sd cards in a soft container on the camera strap.
I'll run out of battery juice before storage.

And I do close the card door with the card out,
ever since the *ist DS fell off the armchair with the door open.
The door broke and had to be replaced at a cost of hundreds of $$$.
I won't do that again!
