I'm still running v1.03 of the firmware. It looks like the only thing
later versions add is GPS functionality...unless there are undocumented
additions.

nor power switch. I had to unscrew battery grip and remove the battery
for it to work again. It now works again but I don't like when these
things happen, imagine it'd be actually work assignment not fun
shootout. Would be really nasty...
Ouch, that's tough. I haven't gotten around to updating the software, I may
wait a bit after this.
