Then it's cooking you don't like -- or cooking a long time. This is a fairly 
traditional recipe. A long time, but simple.

There are many variations on the theme. A favorite adds adzuki beans to the 
dish.

I don't mind the cooking, & I enjoy the eating. It's washing the dishes that's such a pain.

Don't matter what it is I'm cooking, seems like every damn dish in the house ends up having to be washed afterward as a result.
