Hi folks,

I'm hoping to get some opinions on Pentax MF lens choices. Here's my
dilemma....

Let's assume I can afford one and only one used lens for a 6x7 -- for the
time being -- with my choice at the moment being either an SMCT 105/2.4 or
an SMCT 90/2.8 LS. Seems like the 105/2.4 would be a good "normal" lens.
However, the 90/2.8 LS -- perhaps USD $150 higher than a used 105/2.4 in
similar condition? -- would give me flash sync across the entire shutter
speed range of the camera body (a feature I might use often), as well as the
ability to do multiple exposures (a feature I might not use too often, but
possibly once in a while). Given that I'd probably get only a single lens
for now, does it make sense to spend the extra money and make my only lens a
leaf shutter? Or does it make more sense to get the 105/2.4 for the time
being, forgoing the added functionality of the leaf shutter? Does the fact
that the body is non-MLU factor into this choice at all?

I'd appreciate any comments from those of you who've had a chance to use
these two lenses for walking-around, handheld (or monopod-mounted)
photography with a 6x7. What do you think?

Thanks in advance for your help!

P.S. -- Anyone know where I can get a T-adapter to mount a 6x7 body onto
T-thread optics (telescopes, etc.)??
