I am having ~so~ much fun with the predictive texting on my little toy although
unlike many that I know I find it is helpful and speeds things up a great deal
with this minuscule keypad, so it stays on all the time.

Every morning if there are no calls ready to grab I ride into the city and wait
around King and Dufferin streets. I text my dispatcher as I leave my house to
tell him, "heading in to Dufferin", which comes out as "heading in to
Suffering".

A rather accurate depiction of my job some days.

My favourite: One day I was sent to a client to pick up one call. When I got
there I noticed a second envelope at reception addressed to Wellington Street.
I texted, asking if he wanted me to "grab this Wellie", which predictive
texting changed to "should I grab this Willie?".

;-)

cheers,
frank

Subject: OT: Predictive texting

Just sent a text to a friend which I signed off with "Hasta manana".

Or I thought I did, but when I read it back I noticed that the predictive
spelling thing had changed it to "Haste banana"...

I wonder how she'll interpret that.
