If you enjoy good (bad?) puns, I offer the one of which I was most proud. Several years ago I was the go-between setting up a meeting between two of my friends who each had an interest in astronomy. We met at the house of one of the friends, and he felt he had to apologise for the clutter in the room. As well as the typical sci-fi and geek odds and ends that were typical of a high-tech nerd's dwelling, there were also piles of material, half-finished costumes, etc. spreading out over most of the available surfaces. Apparently his girlfriend had been over, putting together some costumes (I forget for what event), and her machine had (of course) decided this would be the ideal time to stop working. "That should have been easy enough to fix", I remarked. Picking up the Star Trek action figure of Jean-Luc Picard that I'd spotted on a shelf I placed it on the machine, and commanded "Make it sew!" -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
