I wish I could say I hated it as much as everyone else. But, God help
me, I like the thing! Though, I'd prefer it in basic black, obviously.
Obvious Nikon user; doesn't know which way to turn the lens to release it.
I don't see anything inherently wrong with the "design" other than the
lack of an eye-level viewfinder for those of us with unsteady hands &
failing eyesight.
I wonder how hard it would be to make a little electronic viewfinder
module to mount on the hot-shoe?
