I understand this last month has provided exceptional displays of "stuff" to be

The only auroras I've seen in my 69 years was from the Washington Canadian
border as I was walking back to our car after a concert. Of course I was
stoned. I was forced by my state of mind to lie down on a hillside for a couple
of hours to observe (no camera). From that perspective it appeared that I was
in the forward observation lounge of the Enterprise NC 1401 traveling faster
than light (or close to it).
We'll be alright as long as we have enough atmosphere to break down those atoms
our toasty sun insists on hurling at us.
Would I be outing myself as a geek if I pointed out that it's not NC 1401, but
NCC 1701 on the Enterprise?
Yes.
Doing the math. NCC 1701 minus NC 1401 equals C 300. Mixed numerical types.
But it is likely the percentage of my brain matter that has ossified in my dome.
