Thanks, Jack. I was amazed at the number of people I observe on the beach with iPhones and even iPads. Some were talking, but more were texting, reading emails, or surfing the net.
On top of the volcano at sunrise, there were a number of people taking images with their phones, and a handful with iPads. I even took a photo of a couple waiting for sunrise with their iPad. Me, when I go to the beach, I veg out, or swim or snorkel. At the pool, however, I was listening to an Orson Scott Card novel on my iPad.
