So the day before yesterday I was taking the dog for a walk and did not take a camera with me. During that entire time there was a big beautiful hawk patrolling the sky within easy reach of the A*300mm with F 1.7x adapter. It seemed to be following our path. I get back home, get the dog situated, grab the K20 A*300 and F 1.7x rush outside and it's GONE. (You knew that was going to be upshot didn't you?) I go back inside and there's the dog with a sheepish expression, (I still don't know what he was doing wrong). Swapped lenses and viola.

Things you'll notice immediately,

1.) He really needs to be groomed, (that's all fur, he's really quite a skinny little pup).

2.) Somebodies been chewing on the furniture behind him, (no not him, a long gone predecessor.

3.) This is really lame compared to a closeup of a hawk on the wing...

Don't lose heart! They might want to cut it out, and they'll want to avoid a
lengthily search.
