Thank you very much, Jack!

Western Kentucky can be a photogenic place, though I never really knew until I decided to start taking photos of it. It's kind of a Memory Lane set for me -- where I grew up. For instance, the old, decaying house is on the corner where my friends and I would hide our beer as teenagers. We'd have one of their older cousins drop it off there for us and we'd pick it up on the way out for the night.

Completely agree. Hadn't seen these earlier. Wonderful scenes, Walt, very well

Wow, those are beautiful, Walt!

Sure is green down there. I'm surprised there's so much foliage this early in
the spring.

Cheers,

Subject: GESO: Final pre-K20D photowalk

Hi all,

Just wanted to post a few shots I got with my K-x today -- the final day
(hopefully) before my K20D arrives.

A couple of shots may look familiar as they're slightly different takes
on shots that I've taken before and sought to improve upon.
Serendipitously enough, I ran into the gentleman who owns the land in
the shot with the old tobacco barn on the hill, and he told me I was
welcome to use his land to take photos anytime I want. He also owns an
old horse track where he trains his harness-racers and invited me to
come out and shoot any morning while he trains.

He really is a great guy -- one of the nicest human beings I've ever
known. I didn't even have to ask. He just flat-out gave me permission
when he saw me walking around his track with my camera. But I digress . . .

Comments, critiques and suggestions are welcome as always.

Thanks!
