events", "I travel the world") or a photo that he wishes he could have
done more with... not one that truly qualifies as his Worst Shot.

I'd have thought it obvious that no-one can have a worst shot, however you
may define worst, but the photographers seem to have chosen the near misses
which they most regret - the one that got away - and that seems like a
reasonable enough definition to me for the purposes of a newspaper article.

In any case, I think it's valuable to hear people talking about and
analysing their pictures even if they do use it as an ego trip.

It strikes me that if any of these shots are the worst ones of any of these photographers, they must be completely hidebound in their work and have been phoning it in for the their entire careers.
