I met the gentleman who owns this shop during the Nebraska Photography Symposium in Hastings Nebraska. He gave a talk on the first day during lunch. He talked about camera repair, among other things. He mentioned Pentax a few times, so I caught him later in the day and asked if he worked on lenses. He told me he did. I sent him a DA 15mm that I had dropped on a sidewalk, that was "fixed" twice by repairman who specializes in Pentax. Hopefully he'll be able to repair it so it works properly.
I think it was $15.00 for the estimate, which is applied to the repair. He also guarantees his work. While I can't endorse his repair, until I get my lens back. Here's his website: http://www.cameradr.com/ -- Kent Brede http://kentonbrede.com/ On Mon, Apr 2, 2012 at 10:49 AM, Darren Addy <pixelsmi...@gmail.com> wrote: > Dunno how this guy is doing it, but he's bucking several trends.
