This is one of the more bizarre photo.net arguments. "You can't rent Pentax gear". So what? I, personally, have never rented any camera gear at all. In the monumentally unlikely circumstances that I'd need to rent a 600/4 lens for something, I'm sure I could rent the Nikon or Canon body as easily as the lens.
