Tim Bray was kind enough to sell me his *istD recently. My intentions are to remove the hot mirror and replace it with a 850nm IR filter glass, which will make it a full time B&W IR camera (but with a bright image in the viewfinder). Found full disassembly instructions for the *istD online... just need an *uninterrupted* few hours to do the job!
