I think it is an incredible photo! The choice to go black and white was a good 
one; I think it really works well here. Expertly rendered.

I was just thinking that I hadn't done anything in B&W in a while, and 
this lent itself to a conversion.  Nothing really special, just an 
illustration of hydraulic pressure in the form of a tree seedling over time.
