With the reintroduction of weather-sealing, I would suggest that this
is less a replacement for the K-r than for the K200D.

Also, 799 euros = $1016 USD which is not what anyone would consider an
"entry level" camera that is going to sell, if that is street price.

I would suggest that this is going to be a mid-range camera out of 3
or 4 models. There should be one below it (with only one wheel and
less/no weather-sealing, if Pentax stays true to their earlier "entry"
cameras). The other problem is that this is priced very close (some
might suggest TOO close) to the K-5. Which, to me indicates that a new
K-5 model is coming shortly that would be placed above the K-30. And
then there will be the new FF flagship (and the updated 645D).
