A quick comparison of the K-5 specs with the K-30 seems to show only
minor(?) differences.

K-5: User manual available for download
K-30: not yet

K-5: 14 bits/channel
K-30: 12 bits/channel

K-30 lacks HDMI out? (not mentioned, anyway)
K-30 lacks 3.5 stereo microphone (built-in monaural only)?
K-30 lacks infrared (for remote)?

Image Stabilization:
K-5 states "Sensor-Shift Shake Reduction with rotational compensation
(4 stops max).
K-30 says same but with "3 stops max"

K-5 also has electronic level function (verification via viewfinder
and LCD panel)
K-30 no mention of electronic level function

Metering System: Exposure Bracketing
K-5: Yes, (2,3, or 5 frames)
K-30: Yes, 3 frames

Fastest shutter speed:
K-5 1/8000
K-30 1/6000

Drive differences
K-5: Continuous Hi = 7.0 FPS (22 jpg, 8 RAW)
K-30: Continuous Hi = "approx 6 FPS (30 jpg, 8 RAW)
K-5: Continuous Lo = 2 FPS (unlimited JPG, 12 RAW)
K-30: Continuous Lo = Approx 3 FPS (unlimited JPG, 10 RAW)

Custom Functions available:
K-5: 27
K-30: 23

I may have missed something, but that's what I caught on first glance.
