I once offered a long-ago colleague what I thought was a challenging
opportunity. He commented that "there is a very fine line between a
Challenge and a Pain in the ass. He felt that my offer had crossed
the line in the wrong direction. It seems you feel that way about
upgrades!
In the same vein, I used to have a boss who would pop into my office
with a cheery "Hello! I have a great opportunity for you to excel!"

I miss the days when DOS included a perfectly good software UNinstaller
called fdisk.
