It turns out my ocz vertex 2 ssd suffers from sleep disorder. It would
simply go to sleep 5 mins after start. This greatly complicates data recovery.
Just in case you may be having one of these - I humbly suggest you
start worrying...
That sounds to me like it's more likely to be a wrong setting in power
management than a problem with the drive itself.
