Probably because to a first approximation nobody uses them any more and by leaving it off they could likely save ten bucks in the cost of the lens. As it turns out, with my upcoming birthday present I could actually pretend that I could afford to get the DA35 Macro. A lens that has been on my wishlist for quite a while. However, if by chance, they do release the cottybane in the near future, a full frame Pentax would turn my DA50 macro into a standard lens, with macro capability. So buy buying a full frame body, I'd be able to save money by being able to use a lens I already have. -- Larry Colen l...@red4est.com sent from i4est -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
