Interesting blog entry from former PDMLer but still loyal Pentax
fashion shooter, Benjamin Kanarek. Based on the premise that he wants
FF but Pentax hasn't delivered, he steps through a decision process of
comparing the two new "inexpensive" FF's.
Two very interesting related comments in the follow-ups: Benjamin is
mostly pissed-off at the poor AF of the K5.
"I need a camera where when go to a shoot, I don't feel paranoid
that half of my stuff is not in focus... :-("
And when somebody suggested that of course clients would expect him to
be shooting with one of the top brands or at least the Pentax 645D, he
retorts:
"My clients have never once ever scrutinized my camera gear."
