I have used a small 18" blacklight to clear up yellowed supertaks
and smc taks in the past. Just sit them right on the bulb and wait
about a month or two.

Subject: Anyone have experience de-yellowing an SMC-Takumar lens?

I've got an SMC-Takumar 35mm f/2 with the radioactive element that's
severely yellowed. Has anyone done the UV light treatment to clear
this up (usually with the more common 50/1.4)?
Sunlight probably isn't an option for me here in Boston with winter
coming on. I'm wondering what type of UV light might work best (or at
all).
