I was astonished by how much my "keeper ratio" improved when I started using a 
monopod when shooting at speeds below 1/20 second with the FA31.  I'm capable 
of holding steady at much lower shutter speeds than that, it's just that in the 
heat of the moment, it seemst that I often fail to.
