Nice isolation photo, Jack. I am not sure whether the barb wire adds tension or the crossing lines draw my attention away. I can see where this photo could work in B&W also.

Wife and I took a lower Sierra foothill drive this PM looking for signs of 
fall. Came across the linked scene which I'd shot 'prox 2 yrs ago. At that time 
it was very early in the day and the sun was just skimming the bark which 
brought out?its fine grain detail. It was about 1:00 PM PDT when I took this 
and it,obviously, is a completely different look.
