Thanks all for commenting. No hair clippers needed, just another friendly 
reminder to leave fingerpaint in front of the more permanent stuff every time. 
She did help cleaning up but as any parent of a 2-3year old will know, that is 
something that makes cleanup a couple times harder and more time-consuming but 
should be there as a learning experience. As to whether to have coffee before 
or after - having coffee after the cleanup minimizes the affected area a great 
deal, in fact, if you don't want to clean paint off of beds, curtains, cats, 
carpets, walls, door handles, floor, cupboards, toys, computers, windows, 
siblings and yourself (the list obviously can go on and on), you should really 
get to it as soon as possible :)
