I'm inclined to believe consenting adults should be able to do whatever
they please with each other (caveat: as long as they're not doing it in
the middle of the street where it will scare the horses).

But, just to be on the safe side, I don't think it's unreasonable for
the government to require proof of that consent in writing. If it really
is true love, the sheep won't mind signing.

Reminds me of the recent debate in the Australian Parliament on
legalising gay marriage (not surprisingly, that vote failed despite
the fact that the majority of Australians support the concept).

During the debate one MP (Cory Bernardi) ranted that legalising gay
marriage would lead to demands for bestiality to be legitimised.  His
nickname is now Cory Barnyardi.
