Maciej,

It is a fine lens and a steal at the price you mentioned. I used it for many
years for indoor family portraits and outdoor people shots. It is remarkably
small and easy to handle. The f 2.0 aperture makes indoor, low light
focusing very easy.

Some have complained that it is not Pentax's sharpest lens. I noticed it was
not as sharp as the A100/2.8 Macro. It is probably not as sharp as the
M135/3.5, but this is difficult to tell. If you are shooting indoor, casual
portraits, then you are often shooting wide open. Camera shake and critical
focus become your real enemies for sharp photos. The results with the
M85/2.0 are very pleasing.

Regards, Bob S.

How do you judge this lens? I would like to use it mainly for
portraits and somebody shots from time to time. Now I have a 50
and 135mm and the latter is a bit to long for indoor shots. OTH
my 35-80/4-5.6 zoom is a bit to slow, and it forces to much DOF.
So this focal length would fill the gap nicely but I'm curious
 about it's performance. >>
