Not intending to butt heads with you Bill. It's obviously not obsolete, but it loses a degree of relevance. If one can arguably get a camera that's quite close in resolution and other performance factors, with a huge lens catalog to choose from. for about 1/3 the price... I looked yesterday and cannot remember the figures, but the DxO scores were fairly close between the aforementioned bodies (one troll to another).
