Kipling's "Just So Story" "How the Elephant Got His Trunk", set on the banks of 
"the great, grey-green greasy Limpopo River, all set about with fever trees" 
has been a favorite of mine for at least 56 years.  Now lots more elephants 
will have the opportunity.
